As an ACR Pro, I’m committed to growing the game, mentoring players, and sharing my passion every step of the way.
About Me
I wasn’t supposed to be here. I was an accountant, living a numbers-driven life, until one decision changed everything. With just $86, I entered an online satellite—and months later, I became the WSOP 2003 Main Event Champion, shocking the poker world and igniting what would become known as the Moneymaker Effect.
That victory didn’t just change my life—it put me on the global stage. I went from an unknown player to being featured on ESPN, competing under the brightest lights in poker and proving that anyone, from anywhere, can win big.
Since then, I’ve traveled the globe playing in the biggest poker tournaments. Poker has taken me across continents, into high-stakes battles, and through the highs and lows that come with competing at the top. It’s a game of skill, discipline, and constant evolution—and that’s what keeps me coming back.
Today, as an ACR Pro and Poker Hall of Fame inductee, I’m focused on giving back to the game that changed my life—sharing knowledge, inspiring players, and showing that one shot can lead to something extraordinary.
